HR Assistant – Wheaton, IL
Human Resources Assistant need for a healthcare provider, temp to possible hire. Will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and work closely with the Human Resources team.
Assist in the preparation of records and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc.
Assists the Benefits Administrator in administering employee benefits programs for enrollment, changes, new hires, and separations. Responsible for vendor billing reconciliation and maintaining benefits databases.
Performs office administrative responsibilities to include accounting, payroll, invoices, accounts payable, requisitions/purchase orders, variances, and miscellaneous checking.
Supports and assists in daily administrative duties.
Composes and/or types of correspondence, administration reports, and forms.
Operates office equipment, personal computer, and related software in a network environment.
Organize and file correspondence and other records.
Assists in scheduling meetings.
Make copies of necessary correspondence or other printed matter.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Tracks vacations, holidays, and attendance of hourly and salaried employees. May compile hourly work schedules and assist with hourly time encoding as required.
Helps prepare departmental reports, presentations, operating instructions, safety checklists, and other documents as needed.
Provides administrative support and record-keeping for the performance management and disciplinary process. Notifies supervisors of attendance and disciplinary issues. Maintains job descriptions, grievance files, training, and safety records.
Assist with the coordination and scheduling of in-house training activities.
Interacts with and assists department employees with a wide variety of requests.
Assist with the coordination of plant and company-level fundraising activities.
