Compensation Consultant – Joliet, IL

Candidate will take the responsibility of updating the College administrator and professional compensation study done in 2018/19 with new market data.  The candidate will also conduct the following:

  • Internal equity review
  • Compensation comparison analysis
  • Manage related recommendations (eg: leveling guides, policy/procedure)
  • Approximately 120 people

Other responsibilities include:

  • Serve as mentor/advisor/resource to the existing compensation and benefits manager
  • Advise on compensation structure and methodology for the merger of two unions
    • Support and clerical
    • Establish pay grades
    • Evaluate titles and more
  • Other policy/project work as designated

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of compensation administration experience
  • Proficient with Excel
  • On-site when needed
