Temp HRIS Specialist

The HRIS Specialist will provide ongoing system support within Oracle to a variety of applications used in the HR function including Cornerstone (TM & L&D), Silkroad (Onboarding) and the Insurance vendor systems. Activities include application troubleshooting and basic system configuration and the creation and maintaining workforce metrics and analytics for the Human Resource department.

System Maintenance: Assist in the review, testing and implementation of all HRIS system upgrades or configuration updates related to business process changes. Collaborate with functional HR, Payroll and IT to coordinate application of upgrades or changes.

Production Support: Research and resolve HRIS problems or unexpected results, perform scheduled activities such as exports or third party reporting, recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business process requirements. Develop and maintain security protocols; create, maintain, and terminate user access as required.

Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of complex reports or queries. Assist in the development and running of weekly, monthly and yearly standard and custom reports to support department initiatives. Help maintain data integrity through the use of periodic audit reports and data analysis based on a thorough knowledge of organization structure and employment practices.

Gathering and analyzing data using statistical methods and applications to report on key metrics, trends and takeaways across all areas of human resources and talent management.

Developing and optimizing strategic HR reports that are aligned with business requirements.

System Integration: Identify methods of linking systems through interfaces, imports, exports and reports. Create and maintain effective interfaces.

Demonstrating good judgement and discretion with dealing with highly sensitive data.

Needed Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree

Excellent knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices including but not limited to performance management, compensation management, and recruitment.

Ability to assess and analyze complex business needs and conceptualize creative solutions.

Ability to effectively interact with associates at all levels within the organization.

Thorough understanding of how business strategies drive talent initiatives.
