Recruiter – Chicago, IL

Recruiter opportunity for Chicago service firm, one or two days a week onsite. Will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers to source and deliver talent to the organization across a broad spectrum of roles. The right candidate will ensure an exceptional experience and fulfill the firm’s strategic initiative to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.  Responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and serve as a trusted advisor in selecting the best possible talent for their teams
  • Manage multiple, full life-cycle equitable hiring processes simultaneously, including drafting position descriptions, reviewing resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, checking references, & extending offers
  • Help build proactive and innovative strategies to attract talent that result in the hiring of qualified diverse candidates, including building relationships with local colleges and universities and other external organizations
  • Help enhance systems to guide and track the effectiveness of recruitment strategies
  • Represent the firm at networking events and job fairs
  • Responsible for new hire onboarding, background checks, job postings, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience serving as a strategic thought partner and support to hiring managers
  • Experience implementing best practices around diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Previous experience as an administrator of an applicant tracking system is a plus
