Project Manager

Project Manager need to support Safety Function protocol in the transportation industry. Plan, execute and finalize project according to defined timelines. Appropriately utilizing project management methodologies and tools.

*6 Month Contract – Onsite For Team Meetings Only*

Create project plans, track tasks, gather information, coordinate with vendors, and provide project plan updates.

Use appropriate project management tools, reports, templates, mentoring, training, and coaching.

Facilitates project scoping, ensuring that issues are raised, necessary input is obtained, and project work is outlined. Manages and obtains approval for any scope changes after initial approval.

Assist with various safety initiatives/projects:

1. New training program (Entry Level Driver Training)

2. Implementation and tracking Driver Evaluator program and compliance

3. Upgrades and Enhancements to the current electronic employee file system

4. Training Rollout/tracking

5. Inappropriate Interaction

6. Speeding

Coordinates activities and ensures effective communication within project team. Lead meetings and facilitates effective communications to drive decisions and action items.

Provides regular reports and project status updates to management.

Provides appropriate escalation and resolution of issues and concerns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Leadership skills and management experience are required.

Strong communicator, comfortable speaking with executive levels informal presentation settings.

Ability to lead and motivate others to apply problem-solving skills and techniques.
