Human Resource Business Partner

Human Resource Business Partner need with manufacturing, warehouse or distribution experience for a diverse work-force that values employees’ contributions in reaching our corporate goals. HR Generalist reports to the HR Manager, must have experience with payroll, safety and project work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on employee issues

• Co-develop and implement policies and training

• Recruit candidates for open positions as assigned

• Develop compensation surveys

• Address employee discipline issues

• Back up for payroll administration

• Assist in employee terminations as assigned

• ISO Training Records – administration and also audit representative

• Year end department responsibilities

• Performance evaluation administration

• Audit new hire processing to ensure completeness and accuracy

• Responsible for annual 401K testing file

• Administer tuition reimbursement program

• Assist employees with various HR issues

• Assist with all aspects of safety (OSHA & EPA compliance / inspection,

safety captains, workers’ compensation)

• Review all new equipment for safety and compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years HR experience required; 7 years HR experience preferred

• Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management

• Strong MS Excel and Word skills

• Thorough knowledge of HR / employment law and HR administration / processes

• Must be able to complete multiple projects with competing priorities

• Excellent presentation skills

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations required, minimum three years safety experience preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree

• SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR preferred
